Go Mariners!
It was boy's (Dad & Josh) night out to the Mariners game last night and we had a lot of fun.
Our first inclination was to let the tickets go to waste since there has been a growing level of disgust and disappointment with the Mariners' efforts over the past month but hey, they were good seats so we decided to go.
We actually spent more time exploring the ballpark than we did watching the game this time around, seeing all the "tourist" things that we normally skip.
Did you know there really is a Mariners' Hall of Fame? It literally is a hall too... neat.
We read the displays, goofed off generally and had a pretty good time. We even found JJ Putz (above) willing to... ahem, pose for pictures. Even the moose (below) got in the act.
We even managed to grab a ball in the outfield bleachers during batting practice. In the four games Josh has gone to this year, he has gotten three balls. The kid has either a got a touch or a dad with mad skills for picking the right location.

Go Mariners...my children have never been to a game. I don't even think Dave has...that will have to change next year!
