Pumpkin Farms X 2

This weekend we had a lot of fun -

We met up with Joe and Adrienne's family, Grandma and Tara, and our nephew Jacob and niece Michelle and went to Spooner Farms. They have a corn maze, pumpkin patch, pumpkin sling shot, and lots of fun for everyone. When we woke up in the morning, there was a thick fog everywhere, so we thought the corn maze would be spooky, but by the time we got there, it was bright and sunny. Not quite the same spooky effect.

The first thing we did was a pumpkin sling shot. You get 3 little pumpkins for $1, and you try and hit a target across the field. If you hit the target, you win a giant pumpkin to take home.

Ben wants to join in too.....

Jeff and Josh just as they released their sling shot.

Joe helping Tara try to hit the target. Madi and Gavin waiting their turn. I think had there been no wives and children around, Jeff, Joe, and Jacob would have just stayed there all day.
None of us actually hit that target!

There was a little display that was supposed to be the Flintstone's home.
Here are some of the kids in the car and the house.

Ben and Valerie in the corn maze.
Which at first, seemed pretty easy, but so easy to get lost.

Ben didn't think he needed to stay on the path. I guess when the ropes to keep you on the path are actually a little taller than you, pretty easy to roam.

After the corn maze, we got to play on a farm playground.
The kids are right now scheming their "cow tipping" plans.

After Spooner Farms we went over to Joe and Adrienne's house
for some yummy homemade chili and fry bread.

After Joe and Adrienne's house, we headed over to the Sirrine house for some birthday cake for our nephew Chris. While there, everyone decided they wanted to go down the road to another farm for a "Haunted Hay Ride". While there, Josh got to ride a 4 wheeler around a track, which he TOTALLY loved and we got to ride on a Monster Truck, and then go on the Hay Ride. It was a ton of fun, but we were exhausted by the end of the night.

Pictures of this to come.....
