So, I got in a little accident on the way home from work yesterday. Nothing bad but entirely my fault. State Patrol had somebody pulled over just south of SE 8th on 405 in Bellevue and I took a glance as I passed by in heavy traffic. Unfortunately, when I put my eyes back on the road, the SUV in front of me was stopped and... bang! Crud, first time I hit somebody in 21 years of driving. No damage to the other vehicle but just enough to mine to wreck the day.
Thankfully, there was already an officer on the scene (obviously) and he took pity on me. No report and no ticket. The lady I hit was about the nicest on earth too. I guess it was a good thing that this was one of the very few times I have ever taken the van to work.
Valerie and I made a deal. She will never speak of this accident again and I will never speak of her recent 86 mph ticket again. (starting... now)

I only got ticketed for 85 - and only because I was in Jeff't TT. And it will be off my record in a few more months. :) - Valerie

Gavin saw the pictures of the van and he said the car needs to get a bandaid.
