When Mom's Away

I will have to admit that I love having little boys - but then there is a side of me that just doesn't like to let them be the dare devils they like to be. This is why it is good they have dads.

We were at the Sirrine house this weekend and I was inside for a while Jeff let Ben climb up the big play structure ALL BY HIMSELF! While I don't mind having Ben play on the big toys, I don't know that I would have let him go up a ladder like this alone.

I could have seen myself lifting him up to avoid the climbing. He is just barely two years old. This is one reason it is good that boys have dads - they need someone to let them be daring.
