It's a............

Baby!

We had our ultrasound today and nothing new to report. Everything looks good as far as we were told, and things are all growing like they should.

We had decided ahead of time to not find out the sex of the baby this time and I can tell you it was freaking hard once the lady told us SHE knew. But we held our ground and will find out in 17 weeks when it is born. I thought Jeff was as excited as me just for a surprise, just to recently find out that he is excited because he is sure I will not buy anything if I don't know if I need to buy pink or blue.

Now to start thinking about names............. any good suggestions are appreciated. We are definitely using the name Jenny in there if it is a girl, after Jeff's mom who passed away 3 years ago, and I kind of want to put Douglas in there if it is a boy, after Jeff's middle name. Not stuck on whether to use them for first or middle, but definitely want the family names in there.

Don't tell Mario about the whole not being able to buy stuff when you don't know the sex thing...I'll never be able to know the sex of my future children! I'm so glad that the baby is healthy! As far as names go I have absolutely no idea (I kinda need one too!). I love Jenny for a girl!

My brothers name is Jeffery Douglas--did we have this conversation in college? Were you able to possibly get a clue from looking at the ultrasound?

Looks like a baby to me. Too bad you didn't "accidentally" catch a glimpse. Hopefully it's a boy... otherwise she'd be a real "tom-boy" what with the "hundreds" of boy babies she'll grow up with.

OH! If you deliver early and Linda delivers late and I'm on time... they'll all be born in the same week! That would be cool.
