This vacation so far has provided blog materials to last for months but I'll get to all of that sometime later. This post is exclusively to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Sarah who was born 13 years ago on one very special evening in Ellensburg, Washington.
We celebrated Sarah's birthday this evening by attending a luau and had a very nice time. The luau was great and they put out a nice spread of food and put on a great hula show. The luau was right on the beach which proved to be too much of a temptation for the boys. Josh just happened to come back to us in his nice clothes soaking wet apparently having been swamped by a rougue wave. Grrr.
They called Sarah and some of the other guests celebrating special occasions up on the stage this evening to join in a dance which was pretty funny and gave here beautiful lei. The MC did a great job of keeping things entertaining.
We were there as the sun set this evening and got back to our condo just a few minutes ago. Valerie and I can't believe we are the parents of a teenager. Heck, when we got married, Valerie was one. The next time we won't be parents of at least one teenager? Autumn 2028. YIKES!

Scary thought...Valerie was only five years older then Sarah when she got married.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH!!! What a memorabel day for you. We have known each other now for a whole decade. Way to go on the Hula dancing! It looks like you all had a GREAT time on your vacation. Fun pictures! Can't wait to see more. It is so beautiful.
