Wet Ones

Our two older kids never seem to have any shortage of activities during the summer and little Benjamin is often sad to see them ride off on their bikes or run off with friends or cousins while he is left behind.

A few months ago a group of sisters that also had little children organized a playgroup where we would all get together and give the little kids an activity of their own to look forward to. During the school year we got together every other week, but now during the summer, we have been having playgroup every single week.

Playgroup is a great chance for us moms to get together and socialize with other adults while we let toddlers age kids play. It has quickly become my very favorite day of the week.

Last week with the holiday, we didn’t have playgroup so some of us got together yesterday for a make-up session. We went to a little park in Auburn where they have lots of water toys for the kids to play in and cool off. It was a lot of fun.

Ben's favorite part was collecting water in a baggie from lunch and trying to get it full and then either trying to drink the water (GROSS!) or trying to dump it on other kids.

HAHA That is gross. But all the kids do it and the health dept hasn't shut down the park yet haha. Jen had a talk with her kids all about how people were sitting on the snake and the water was going up their bottoms so not to drink it. It was funny and I was extra aware of what was going on over at the snake after that...SICK!
