Jeff is not home yet, but when he walks in the door, this will be the scene greeting him. We have been working on Ben on giving up naps. From a mother of a 2 yr old's standpoint it is a horrible thing to do. There is nothing like that little bit of time in the afternoon where the whole world is calm and quiet. Especially right now while I am 32 weeks pregnant (not that I am counting). The tradeoff though is then having trouble getting him to sleep at night. When he doesn't have a nap, I can get him to sleep within 15-20 mins after family prayer. When he does have a nap, it is taking over an hour. So really it is a tradeoff of having some time with Jeff in the evening to talk to another adult, or having the peace during the day.....hmm.....
Today, I felt as though I was successful, but had to run to QFC for a couple last minute things for dinner. Apparently the 2 block ride home was just too much for him. He walked 3 steps in the house and crashed to the floor asleep. Looks like another long night...

We are dealing with the same thing! Andrew gets pretty grumpy and I know he needs a nap but if he does, he can stay up till 11pm! I remember going through the same thing with Kelsi. Ben looks so cute (and innocent :)) laying there!
That is way too cute. You will have to tell us what Jeff though; hopefully he did not trip over Ben!
If you give him a nap early in the day he will make it till 7:30 or 8:00
I have tried earlier - he doesn't ever fall asleep. Bummer that he may be phasing them out!
That's really cute. Can I just say how totally jealous I am that he can just go to sleep anywhere he falls? So jealous.
