On the eve of 2009

When you are part of a family the size we are, you are usually in a pretty big group for most any holiday/celebration/party. New Years Eve was the exception this year. With the Walsh family out of town, and people not really wanting to drive too far and play dodge the drunks on the road after midnight, we all stayed pretty close to home - just with a smaller party. Now this by no means meant less fun. Anyone that wasn't there missed out on a blast! We had our family of 6, the 2 adult Sirrines, and Opa.

Pam made some delicious krokets that usually when made you have to wait in line for because there are so many of us - but this time we were able to eat and eat until we couldn't eat any more. In fact, a big thank you goes out to all those who weren't there - we were able to all split your portions. Mmmmmm.......... Pam talks about making them over on her blog here - Kroket making.

Sorry for anyone who wasn't there - none left......

Here is just part of the excitement when the clock struck midnight.
