Sarah and I had quite a day today. She hurt her knee on Monday while at dance. I kind of figured she had just landed on it wrong, but this morning, she couldn't put any pressure on it at all still - so decided it was time for a trip to the doctor.
When he saw her knee he was concerned that there was quite a bit of swelling above her kneecap and wanted x-rays to rule out the possibility of a broken bone or chip.
So our adventure now sent us over to St Francis hospital for x-rays. Once there, they put her in a wheelchair and had someone pushing her around.
That novelty wore off pretty quickly because as ANYONE who has been to a hospital knows that they pretty much rush you to the next place and then you play the waiting game. I was so extremely grateful for my friend Amie who had asked me earlier if I wanted Ben to come play with her boys while I went to the Dr. I can only imagine the joy that would have come with having him there for as long as we were there. THANK YOU Amie!
Really - doesn't everyone want pictures online of them in a hospital gown?
The xrays are back and there is nothing broken, but if she still can not put any weight on it by next Monday the Dr. wants to schedule an MRI for her to be sure she hadn't torn her ligaments. She is on crutches for the next 2-3 weeks

Poor Sarah!! Hope she feels better quickly...doesn't she get her egg baby soon?
How sad! If it's any consolation, you can really pull off the hospital gown look!
If she was like 2 years older you'd be dead for putting that hospital gown pic online! HAHA She's so cute:) Is her baby a girl or boy? Did she name it Nathen Junior?
aww poor Sarah, maybe if she would have counted 2,3 cha cha cha instead of 1, 2, cha cha cha she would not be on crutches.
