A Drafty Thanksgiving

I was just looking at our blog from behind the scenes and realized there are several drafts of posts backlogged that were never apparently fully written or actually published to the actual blog. This is one of those half-baked entries.

We we wouldn’t want to leave out anything so here we go with…

THANKSGIVING 2008!

So we’re a couple of months late. Big deal.

We celebrated this year at the Sirrine division of the family’s home in Bonney Lake.

The point I guess is that yes, we did celebrate Thanksgiving. See there are even pictures to prove it.

As I recall, I made one of the family’s turkeys this year. I smoked it on my Webber Grill. It was scrumptious as I recall. I was going to blog preparing the turkey as well, complete with instructions but that is a blog post that never even made it out of the camera.

We had a lot of people as usual and plenty to eat too.

I also remember sitting down to watch the Seattle Seahawks play the Dallas Cowboys on TV before eating. The Seahawks got killed but now in retrospect, I take solace in knowing that the Cowboys didn’t do anything special either.

Hmm...for some reason I feel like I need to eat some green bean casserole now!
