For playgroup this week Amie had arranged a trip for all the kids to go tour the local fire station. The kids were very excited about going over there. It was so much fun. The firemen that were there were so nice and patient with a huge group of children 5 and under.
Our whole group - there was a lot of us yesterday!
They let the kids climb up and in and all over the firetrucks - which they loved! We got to hear the sirens which they also liked a lot. 
One of the firemen put on his firesuit to let the kids see what it looked like and he showed them how they use oxygen tanks to breathe, and what it sounded like - the kids were fascinated.

A great big thank you to the firemen for all their patience yesterday - they gave a great tour and as we were driving away Ben said to me "Mommy, I want to be a fireman - they are cool and they are heros"

Weren't those reflectors the worst part. I ruined so many pics because the darn reflectors on their clothes.. not that I still didn't have WAY too many to choose from hahah
