I know this isn't our normal blog-fodder but I can't help myself.
If the reports are true, Ken Griffey Jr. is headed back to Seattle.
Although it probably isn't a great baseball move and I don't want to be excited, I can't help but be thrilled.
We love the Mariners and he was the greatest we every saw. It will be fun to relive some of that this year and share the past with the kids who don't remember it as he comes back one more time. He was center-stage for the one and only time sports has moved me to tears...
It will be great to have one last run before they hang his number 24 in the rafters where it belongs. GO MARINERS!

We've had some great Mariner moments with Griffey! Isn't that first picture when he broke his wrist?
We also love the game and I (Chris) would be exstatic to have him come back. I have a lot of memories of it all as well.
