Twin Falls - I hear there was a wedding too....

We were finally in Twin Falls, Idaho and getting in the van headed to the temple to see Adrian and Laura get sealed. Ben was standing on the front seat of the van looking out the sun roof waiting for everyone to get to their cars.

As he came back down to go sit in his seat, he sliced his finger on SOMETHING up there and ended up with this...........

Yes, that is a nasty big chunk of his finger hanging off.

With a wedding in about 30 minutes, I checked with the front desk for where an Urgent Care Center is, and then dropped off Jeff and the other kids, and went to go find somewhere to go get this taken care of.

He was quite a trooper actually, because through it all he never cried. We waited long enough that the wedding was all done and over with. When they told me they were going to have to tie him down to a papoose board, I decided it was time to go get Jeff to help with that part. Turns out THAT was the only thing that made him cry. He panicked with it, and they told him if he held still good enough he could have it off, and he did.

Here he is with the nice doctor that stitched him up. He ended up with 6 stitches and a nice scar he will have forever. But for a boy, he thinks it is pretty cool and will be happy to show anyone that asks.
