So whatever happened to kids dressed as ghosts and witches for Halloween, you know at lease a costume that any reasonably astute adult to take a glance at and say. "oh, a mummy". Well apparently our kids have decided that they don't care who looks at or recognized their costumes anymore as long as they like them.
Josh: Josh made his own choice this year and decided to challenge his mother with his desire to be a Pokemon trainer. Nobody over 10 years old that doesn't work for Nintendo has any clue what that is. All I know about it now, is that it wears a $30 hat. This is the guy Josh wanted to be......and this is how he ended up.
That's him alright. Josh was thrilled so whatever. I think he actually ended up getting bonus candy out of the deal since people felt sorry for him. He looks like some kid who's parents wouldn't spring for a costume at all and was forced to walk around in short sleeves and fingerless gloves. This is one "costume" that I believe will quickly work it's way into Josh's regular rotation.
Sarah: This choice was the most unusual (for sure the most obscure) of the bunch. She decided she wanted to be Tracy Turnblad from the movie hairspray. Wow, where did that one come from? Good movie but an odd costume choice.
This is what Sarah was based on...
...and after a quick trip the the D.I plus towels to fatten her up...
... not bad!
Of course nobody at all had a clue who Sarah was. My favorite guess was Oprah. It helped when the rest of her posse showed up as the rest of the cast.
All in all, the kids had a great time and pulled in an amazing haul of goodies. They are getting quicker and much more efficient the older they get. Now they are trick-or-treating machines.
There will be no sugar shortage in our house for years.

Love the tiger...I mean lion! :) Josh looks great as a Pokemon trainer- and Kelsi knew who he was, even though I didn't at first. Sarah's has to be my favorite, she looks awesome. She makes me want to break out into song..."Good Morning Baltimore!!"
Gavin saw the picture of Ben and he said,"kitty"!!!! What a cute lion he makes. Sarah and Josh look great. Very creative.
