Super Fun Thursday!!

Today was a super fun day - NOT!!

Early in the day, Ben and I got to go with Judy and Jeff's dad to the lovely Group Health for a day of fun tests and "hurry up and get to the next test" and then wait game! I really don't mind going at all - they just don't ever seem very efficient.

I was very lucky that Chris and Cat were willing to take Ben for most of the day. While Judy and Dad were in one of the appts, I was in the lobby with Ben who was sooooooo excited to see the fish tank that he was talking at a very much louder than normal voice wanting everyone to know there were fish in there. He was naming a mommy fish, a daddy fish, and so forth. He was most certainly not being bad - just very excited about the fish, and thought people from one end of the lobby to the next needed to know. :)

They then told us that some medical equipment would be delivered "within 4 hours" hahahahaha.......... what foolish souls we are to believe things like that. We sat around most of the day waiting for them to come, and I think they finally came about 5:30.

By then, though we were onto our other adventure that evening. Judy, Laura, Sarah, and I were heading down to Pacific Ballroom Dance to sign up for the summer session and were in a little fender bender. It was raining and the roads were slick. A car stopped pretty quick and we ended up hitting the back of it. Not a good day for Judy. Although, it was very easy to see how it could happen to anyone. Thank goodness one of Judy's friends drove by and took the girls down to dance, while we stayed for the police to come take their report. With every 5 minutes, the lady that was rear-ended seemed to be more and more hurt. I couldn't believe it when they called for medical aid and an ambulance. Even the cop said to us "I'm not a doctor or anything, and I don't really know what is going on over there, but this is a minor car accident and will be sure to document that on my report."
Good news - no injuries (well, real injuries)

These are pictures of the cars to see the actual damage - Judy's car is actually pretty messed up, and the lady had a smudge on her car. Not even a dent - a smudge!

And I totally blame Judy for making me miss sloppy joes/burritos in a bag day! I am not doing so good at this Ernesta Week thing!
