Fall is getting started around here. Even though the weather hasn't fully kicked in, our schedules certainly have.
While it may seem like I only take pictures of Ben, I do have 2 other kids (anyday now 3). It just really seems that with school started I see a whole lot more of Ben.
We are getting into our school week schedule and what I see with the other kids is mostly in the car taking them to their various activities. Sarah has ballroom dance twice a week, YW activities at church once a week, volleyball games/practice twice a week for the church team, and soon will be on the school volleyball team 4 days a week. While Josh really only has scouts once a week, he gets to be part of the fun of carting around to all of these events. Add homework for both of them to this list, and they getting pretty busy.
We are also hoping for this baby to arrive to our family anyday now, although with my history, really shouldn't be counting down for a little while yet. And not that I AM counting, but today I have 10 days left.
The last few weeks while the weather has been nice, during the school day, I have been trying to get Ben out to play. Once the weather turns icky, it will be too rainy and cold for awhile. So we are basically trying to squeeze the last bit of summer we can. And as every mother of a toddler knows, a worn out, played all day little boy goes to sleep early.
These are some pictures from the last week with Ben from our various playtimes -
Playgroup at Celebration Park. The boys loved playing in this little hammock/swingThis area had shovels to pick up the shavings, and I think the boys played there for over an hour. Somehow in his 2 yr old brain he is pretty convinced that everyone has a baby in their tummy. He will be happy to show you his baby anytime/anywhere.
My brother Joe's family came over last Sunday and as he is with all his cousins/babies, Ben was fascinated with our newest niece Annika. I am hoping he will be as gentle with his new brother.
