Today is officially Valerie's due date so I thought it an appropriate time to update the blog with the latest baby news.
Zachary and Valerie are both doing great and have been home since Wednesday afternoon. Valerie was very happy to leave the hospital and come home and hopefully get back to some sort of "normal" routine again.
A while before Zach had been born, Valerie bought him a little monkey outfit to wear home from the hospital so she anxiously got him dressed to go.
As you can see, Zachary was thrilled. Perhaps he isn't a monkey fan.
We got him all loaded up in his carseat to go. He looks SO TINY in there.
Finally the nurse came to escort us down the the van and we were on the way home for the first time. In just a couple of days in the hospital, we had accumulated so much stuff to bring home with us.
We did have a quick couple of stops on the way home to first drop off Valerie's prescriptions and then to grab a couple of gallons of milk. Somehow we can never keep enough of this stuff in the house. Oddly, we remembered stopping off to pick up milk when we brought Sarah home from the hospital back in our Ellensburg days.
It is great to have our slightly larger family all back together again!

I'm sure it feels great to be back home. What an adorable baby! I wish I was there because I want to snuggle him! I really like your car seat, very cute!
I have that cup! He is very cute.
Congrats you guys! I was fun to come home from our trip and see your great news! Getting any sleep? Sorry, a little to early to joke about that kind of stuff. Hang in there!
Well, even if he doesn't love the monkey outfit, it was sure cute on him!!
He's like the size of that gallon of milk!! So LITTLE! I want one;)
